A former Fort Scott high school volleyball star who began her college career at Hutchinson Community College, is now heading to Division 1.
McKenzie Murphy was first-team All-SEK in her senior season at Fort Scott, and committed to play volleyball for Delice Dowling at Hutchinson. Murphy did not slow down at the college level, appearing in 79 matches across two seasons with 349 kills, 54 blocks, and a .268 hitting percentage.
The 6-foot-1 middle blocker will be continuing her journey at Southern Indiana University, where the Screaming Eagles will be looking to bounce back following an 8-22 season.
