Ravens Walkoff Johnson County, Clinch Home Playoff Series

The Red Ravens clinch a first round home playoff series in dramatic fashion, splitting a doubleheader with the Johnson County Cavaliers.

The doubleheader was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to rain and storms on Saturday, and was resumed Sunday afternoon. With CCC down 1-0 in the third, centerfielder Eric Bacon gave the Ravens the lead.

The two teams went back and forth, leading to a 4-4 tie in the seventh inning. With two runners on, Raven outfielder Colton Reudy delivered the hit to win it 5-4 for Coffeyville.

The Cavaliers would bounce back and win the series finale 12-2. The win ensures the Ravens will finish in the Top 4 of the KJCCC East standings, and will host a Best-of-3 playoff series at Walter Johnson Park on May 8th, 9th, and 10th, with times and opponent still to be determined.
