A Neosho County athlete broke a Humboldt High School Track and Field record.
Freshman Jordan Hencey set the school record in the pole vault, jumping 8-feet-6-inches in Friday's meet.
Hencey is not only a pole vaulter, the freshman also runs the 300 meter hurdles for the Cubs as well.
Jordan is a multiple sport talent, also advancing to state in wrestling earlier this year.
