The next Red Raven men's basketball team is beginning to take shape, with three promising players announcing their commitment to CCC.
Apostolos Paziotopoulos comes to Coffeyville from Greece, where he was an all-star at the Pangos Camp, and played pro in Greece with three Americans. He averaged 14.6 points per game, along with 5.3 assists, and shot 47% from 3-point range. Paziotopoulos joined the Ravens earlier this year as a redshirt, and has been practicing with the team.
Ulysses Ballisager-Webb is a 6-foot-8 wing from Colorado, who has played against tough competition, spending time with Colorado Prep and the Denmark U-18 national team. He averaged 18 points per game on 47% shooting and 46% from 3-point range in his most recent tournament.
Jeremiah Lucas is the most recent Raven commit, choosing CCC over defending national champion Trinity Valley. Lucas averaged over 20 points per game this past season, and scored 2,300 points in his high school career, on an impressive 51% shooting.
Coffeyville finished second in the regular season standings, before losing in the Region VI semifinals to Barton.
