A pair of Chanute athletes are getting it done on the diamond, and have been named the Taco John's Athletes of the Month.

 

Kris Harding continues to show his talent across numerous sports, dominating on the mound in a pair of starts. Harding pitched 12 innings total, striking out 11 hitters, and only allowing two earned runs.

 

On the softball field, Avery Dean pitched and got the win in a victory over the Iola Mustangs. Dean showed her two-way ability, hitting a grand slam to win the game.

 

The Taco John's Athlete of the Month is awarded each month for area athletes in Neosho County, and you can vote for worthy athletes at Taco John's in Chanute.
