The 2024-25 basketball season officially comes to an end, as the National Junior College Athletic Association announces the All-Americans for the past year.
Five women's athletes from the KJCCC were selected to the All-America teams, with Hutchinson's Hailey Jackson the lone 1st-team representative. Jackson led the league averaging 18.3 points per game, also averaging 8.4 rebounds and posting 30 games in double figures.
Dodge City's Layla-J Cameron and Barton's Vivian Onugha were both named 2nd-team, and Dodge City's Shorna Preston and Cowley's Elysa Martinez were both selected as Honorable Mention.
On the men's side, Cowley's Marcus Whitlock Jr was named a 1st-Team All-American, after being selected the KJCCC Player of the Year. Whitlock Jr averaged 16 points per game, shooting 47 percent from the field and 42 percent from 3-point range.
Garden City's Antonio Chol was named to the 2nd-Team, along with Barton's Brent Moss. Barton guard Keandre Kindell was named an Honorable Mention.
