Field Kindley baseball's comback attempt falls just short as the Nado fall 9-6 against Labette County.

 

Jaxin Hershey would get the start for the Nado. The Grizzlies would get to him early scoring three in the first and adding another in the second. Hershey would settle in for the third and fourth inning holding Labette scoreless. Haydn Main would take the mound in the fifth giving up two runs in the inning with two more given up in the sixth.

 

The Nado were held scoreless heading into the bottom of the sixth inning when the offense finally woke up. Coffeyville would rattle of six runs in the inning cutting the Labette lead to one. The Grizzlies added an insurance run in the top of the seventh. The Nado couldn't get the rally going again in the bottom half of the seventh bringing the win streak to an end at three.

 

Coffeyville falls to 3-2 on the season and 1-1 in league play. The Nado are back in action on the road taking on Independence tomorrow.
