There are plenty of reasons to be excited about Kansas State football getting spring practices underway, but not everything is going according to plan.
Many college football programs are bracing for the House vs NCAA settlement case, which declares that teams can't have more than 105 players on their active rosters.
Head Coach Chris Klieman says the program will be having to cut back on the team's player pool.
Transfers and walk-ons will generally be the most impacted groups, battling for roster spots on teams that can no longer carry that many players. Klieman says it's an unfortunate feeling for the athletes that want to be Wildcats.
KSU has ten practices spread throughout the month of April, beginning tomorrow morning in Manhattan.
