Oklahoma Wesleyan Falls in National Championship

Oklahoma Wesleyan's quest for a national championship comes up just short, as the Eagles fall in the national championship game in Kansas City.

OKWU was the tournament's No. 7 seed and pulled off numerous upsets to advance to the title game, but could not overcome the No. 1 seed College of Idaho, who wins the championship 93-65.

The Eagles found themselves down big early, after the Coyotes hit eight of their first ten 3-point shots, leading to a 49-29 halftime score.

This was OKWU's first appearance in the title game since the 2009 championship season. The Eagles finish the season with a record of 28-8.
