The road to an NCAA Championship begins today for 32 Division 1 schools, including the Kansas Jayhawks, who battle the Arkansas Razorbacks in Providence, Rhode Island.
KU enters the matchup 21-12 on the season, and the No. 7 seed in the West Region, while Arkansas is 20-13 and the No. 10 seed in the region. Jayhawks Coach Bill Self says he expected a tough tournament road.
Arkansas is getting a key player back, as freshman guard Boogie Fland returns from injury after missing the past two months. Self says the Razorbacks are tough, but so are they.
Coverage of KU-Arkansas begins this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. CT on Greatest Hits 104.1 FM, with tip off scheduled for 6:10. The winner of tonight's game will play the winner of St. John's and Omaha on Saturday.
