It was a strong weekend series for Red Raven baseball, as the team takes three of four games from the Allen County Red Devils.

 

Cross Dowd pitched a shutout in the series opener, with Eric Bacon hitting a home run, and Landin Midgett driving in two in an 11-0 five inning victory.

 

Game 2 was a 7-6 Raven win, with Bacon adding three more hits, and Carson Miller reaching base three times. Si Collins pitched five innings, with Caleb Peek earning the save.

 

Allen County got their lone series win in Game 3, winning 12-11 in eight innings. Miller and Nathon Cruz were the top hitters for CCC, and Martin Malick hitting a grand slam for the Red Devils.

 

CCC bounced back in the series finale, winning 10-0 in five innings. Cooper Jarnagin hit a three-RBI double, while Cruz contributed two hits as well. Easton Renn threw a complete game shutout, improving to 4-0 on the season.

 

The Red Ravens are 13-7 on the season, and begin a series with Highland tomorrow afternoon.
