The Kansas Jayhawks know their fate as they chase a national championship, landing the No. 7 seed in the West Region for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
KU is 21-12 on the season, and will match up with the No. 10 seed Arkansas Razorbacks, led by former Kentucky coach John Calipari. Arkansas enters the matchup 20-13 on the season.
The top seed in the West is the Florida Gators, who are 30-4 and champions of the SEC Tournament. The No. 2 seed is the 30-win St. John's Red Storm, who would be a potential second round matchup for the Jayhawks. Additional teams of note in the region are No. 8 seed UConn, No. 4 seed Maryland, No. 3 seed Texas Tech, and No. 6 seed Missouri.
The Jayhawks and Razorbacks play Thursday night in Providence, Rhode Island, with tip off at 6:10 p.m. CT on Greatest Hits 104.1 FM.
