Wildcats Battle ASU in Big 12 Tournament

The road to a Big 12 Tournament championship begins today, as the No. 10 seed Kansas State Wildcats open with the Arizona State Sun Devils in Kansas City.

The Wildcats enter the matchup with a 15-16 record, and 9-11 conference mark, while the Sun Devils are 13-18 on the season, and 4-16 in Big 12 play. The teams split a pair of regular season matchups, with ASU winning the most recent showdown.

Both teams have dealt with their fair share of inconsistencies this season, particularly on the offensive end. KSU is led by guard Dug McDaniel and forwards Coleman Hawkins and David N'Guessan, while ASU relies on seniors Alston Mason and Basheer Jihad, both who average 12 points per game.

Coverage of tonight's Big 12 Tournament game begins at 6 p.m. CT on the Mighty 690, KGGF. The winner of tonight's game will play No. 7 seed Baylor tomorrow night.
