Chiefs Resign Pair of Players

The Kansas City Chiefs didn't waste any team at the start of free agency, agreeing to terms with a pair of players that suited up for the team last season.

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $11 million. Brown played five total games with the Chiefs after a preseason shoulder injury. WHIO Sports Reporter Parker Testa says Brown provides strong inusrance for the KC offense.

The team also agreed to a new three-year deal with linebacker Nick Bolton, worth $45 million total. Bolton has been a fringe Pro Bowl talent in his time with the Chiefs, but Testa says it doesn't solve all of the problems on defense.

The franchise's biggest concern remains on the offensive line, particularly at left tackle. Testa says he believes the team could look in multiple places.

Free agency signings in the NFL become official later this week, as organizations are currently in the legal tampering period.
