The Field Kindley boys basketball season comes to an end with a loss to Baldwin, 54-41, in the Sub-State Championship game.
The game got off to a back and forth start with Coffeyville trailing by just two, 13-11, at the end of the first quarter. Just before halftime, the Nado took a 19-18 lead but a Baldwin three followed by a Nado turnover and Bulldog layup would put Baldwin back up on top 24-19.
Coffeyville would cut into the Baldwin lead in the third quarter outscoring them 15-14 and would trail 38-34 heading into the final quarter. The Nado unfortunately went cold in the final four minutes of the game missing their final 10 shots. Poor free throw shooting also hurt Coffeyville as they shot 5/17 from the line. KK Austin led the Nado in scoring with 13.
The Nado finished the season 15-7, the best record in Coach Griff Walker's four-year career.
