An incredible season for the Caney Valley Bullpups came to an end tonight in the Class 3A Sub State tournament championship in Columbus, as the Pups fell to the Burlington Wildcats 73-67.

 The difference in the game was a 24-14 2nd quarter for Burlington, along with great offensive rebounding and putbacks by Wildcats senior Sage Fefjar. 

 Senior Colt Hightower led the Pups with 31 points, including four 3-pointers, and Peyton Darden added fifteen. Senior Ben Matthews had six points for Caney, who finished their season with an 18-4 record, along with a 7-0 record in the Tri-Valley.
