The Region VI Tournament begins this weekend for eight schools, and the full women's tournament bracket has been released following the conclusion of the regular season.
Dodge City and Hutchinson split the regular season conference championship, with the Conquistadors receiving the No. 1 seed via tiebreaker. No. 2 seed Hutchinson, No. 3 seed Coffeyville, and No. 4 seed Butler all receive first round byes as well.
The action begins Saturday afternoon with 5-seed Cowley hosting 12-seed Independence, 7-seed Cloud County hosting 10-seed Colby, 11-seed Pratt traveling to 6-seed Seward County, and 8-seed Barton battling 9-seed Garden City.
The top four seeds will host quarterfinal games on Tuesday night, with the semifinals and championship games to be played at Fort Hays State University next Friday and Saturday.
