The Red Ravens enter the Region VI Tournament with momentum, after a massive doubleheader sweep over the Barton Cougars on sophomore night.

 

The Lady Ravens win the opener 89-55, and clinch the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Region tournament. Norika Welch had a game-high 24 points, while Camree Johnson and Aspen Clarkson contributed double digit points off the bench.

 

Assistant Coach Sierra McBride says the focus now shifts to the postseason.

 

The men win an absolute classic in the nightcap, 89-85 over Barton, and snap a five-game losing streak to the Cougars.

 

Assistant Coach Jordan Bailey says this was a big win for the sophomore class.

 

Trent Ruth led the team with 22 points, while Brian Griffith scored 20 as well. Bailey says the team showcased their impressive depth.

 

Both teams receive first round byes and are off Saturday, and will return to Nellis Hall Tuesday night for the Region VI Quarterfinals.
