The Iola Mustangs travel to Caney Valley High School tonight for a 2nd round Sub State matchup with the Bullpups.

 The Pups are looking for their 18th win of the season, after a 70-19 win over Cherryvale last Friday. Three Bullpups were in double figures; Layne Denny with 20, Colt Hightower with 15, and Braydon Messner added 11.

 Iola defeated Riverton last Friday 68-59. The Pups will look to contain Cortland Carson, who averaged 21 PPG, 6 RPG and 2 SPG in the regular season, and Nick Bauer, who averaged almost 5 APG. 

 On the season, Caney is averaging 72.2 PPG and Iola is averaging 53.5 PPG. Caney comes into tonight's game ranked 21st in Kansas Division 3A, while Iola is ranked 32nd.

 The winner of this game will move on to Columbus Saturday to take on the winner of the Burlington / Garnett-Anderson County game, also scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight.
