The Red Ravens take the stage at Nellis Hall one final time before the postseason, hosting the Barton Cougars tomorrow night.
CCC still has plenty to play for in the regular season finale, with the Lady Ravens trying to lock up the No. 3 seed, and the men aiming to win the No. 2 seed for the Region Tournament.
The Lady Ravens defeated Barton 71-69 in overtime in the first matchup. Head Coach Tony Turner says the Cougars have plenty of talent on the offensive end.
It will be sophomore day for both programs, celebrating the outgoing players who have contributed. Turner says he owes a lot to this sophomore class.
The men enter the night tied with Barton for 2nd place, with the winner taking the No. 2 seed into the tournament. Head Coach Jay Herkelman says the team is looking to finally get over the hump against the Cougars.
Coffeyville and Barton are both nationally ranked on the men's side, looking to finish a resume to get into the National Tournament. Herkelman says this is two of the nation's best going head to head.
Coverage of Coffeyville-Barton begins tomorrow night at 5 p.m. CT on US 98 and the Red Raven Sports Network.
