Many players got an opportunity to display their talents at the NFL Combine, and it was a Kansas State running back that was one of the most impressive performances of all.
DJ Giddens had a day to remember, running a 4.43 40-yard dash, while also having a 10'10" broad jump and a 39.5" vertical jump. Those marks were among the best on the day, with his 40-time ranking No. 6 among running backs, and ranking No. 2 in both the vertical jump and broad jump.
Giddens received an overall relative athletic score of 9.89, which is graded on a scale of 1-10. That mark is the 22nd best by a running back since 1987.
The Kansas State star finished his career with more than 3,000 rushing yards in three seasons in Manhattan, finding the end zone 27 total times. The junior was projected as a 4th-5th round pick in next month's draft, but may now find himself drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round.
