The Caney Valley Bullpups look for their 14th win of the season and to move one step closer to being sub-state champions as they travel to Burlington tonight to take on the Wildcats.

 Caney defeated Columbus 60-35 last Thursday, while Burlington defeated Galena 47-16 to move on to round two.

 Burlington is ranked 23rd in Class 3A while Caney is ranked 31st. 

 Caney looks to Senior Sarah Martinez to continue her great postseason play, as she led the team with 21 points against Columbus. They'll also rely on the outside games of Elyn Washburn and Gracie Eden; that duo combined for six 3-pointers in the game against Columbus. 

 The Lady Cats are led by Sophomore Mac Medlock with 15 PPG, Junior Hattie Burgio with 8.6 RPG and Sophomore Alex Splechter with 4.3 APG. Splechter also leads the team with 67 steals.
