The Red Ravens and Hutchinson Blue Dragons battled to a draw last week, with each team going 2-2 in the four game series.

 

The Ravens claimed Game 1 in Hutchinson, thanks to a seven-run seventh inning rally to stun the Dragons 9-6. Nathon Cruz, Cooper Jarnagin, and Colton Ruedy all drove in multiple runners.

 

Game 2 went to the Blue Dragons by a final score of 15-5. Hutchinson scored four in the second inning, and eight in the fifth to create a deficit too large to rally from.

 

At Walter Johnson Park, Hutch claimed Game 3 of the series 6-2, thanks to a three-hit day from catcher Anthony Mazza.

 

CCC bounced back to take the series finale 2-0. Payton Burns and Landin Midgett drove in the two runs, and Easton Renn threw six shutout innings, with help from Yale Griffiths, Caleb Peek, and Aiden Ruiz out of the bullpen.

 

The Red Ravens are 8-3 on the young season, and hitting .386 as a team thus far. They travel to Oklahoma Wesleyan JV on Wednesday for an afternoon doubleheader.
