Field Kindley High School girls basketball finishes the season strong with a 44-39 win over Labette County. The win gives the Lady Nado 14 wins for the first time since the 2014-2015 season.
Labette jumped out to an early lead opening the game on a 9-2 run. Coffeyville would answer right back with a 10-2 and take a 12-11 lead into the second quarter. Labette's strong second quarter would give them a 22-19 lead at the half.
The third quarter would be the difference in the game as Coffeyville outscores LCHS 13-3 in the quarter. The Lady Nado were lead by a strong second half performance from Taiylor Caron who scored 13 of her 20 points in the second half.
The win secured the eight seed for the Lady Nado, who will face Baldwin in the opening round of Sub-State at 6:00pm on Wednesday.
