The Kansas City Royals are a week into Spring Training games, off to a 4-2 start with promising production from both hitters and pitchers.

 

Jonathan India has started his KC career red hot, getting four hits in nine at-bats, and reaching base six times in four games played. Nick Loftin, Cavan Biggio, and Maikel Garcia are all also hitting well in the spring.

 

Top prospect Jac Caglianone has three hits this spring, including a 435-foot home run in a win over the White Sox. Caglianone is the No. 22 rated prospect in all of baseball.

 

On the pitching side, Daniel Lynch, Cole Ragans, Hunter Harvey, and John Schreiber have all gotten off to strong starts on the mound.

 

The team will send Ragans, Seth Lugo, and Michael Wacha all to the mound this week.
