The Cherryvale Chargers embark on their postseason journey, traveling to Caney to battle a talented Bullpup team.
Cherryvale wrapped up the regular season with a 3-16 record, displaying a lot of underclassmen inxperience in the backcourt. Junior Landon Fox and seniors Carson Ellis and Brycen Raida have been crucial leaders for the program.
The Chargers dropped their only matchup with Caney this year, struggling with the Caney offense and allowing 97 points in the loss. Head Coach Scott John says the Bullpups love to play with tempo.
The Bullpups feature many talented weapons, led by senior Colt Hightower, and also including Layne Denney, Ben Matthews, and Peyton Darden, among others. John says the gameplan will be to slow the game speed down.
