The defending sub-state champion Erie Red Devils are looking for some more postseason magic, opening the playoffs tonight on the road against Colgan.
Erie wrapped up the regular season 9-11, but were able to secure late season momentum, winning five of their final seven games. Head Coach Braven Born says the team has been more agressive on the interior.
The Red Devils were able to beat Colgan in their sub-state title run last season, winning a thriller 50-48 in the championship game. Born says they can't let the Panthers dictate the speed tonight.
Erie and Colgan tip off tonight at 7:30 p.m. CT in Pittsburg, immediately following the Red Devil girls playing Colgan at 6 p.m. tonight.
