The Ravens roll again, completing a doubleheader sweep of the Seward County Saints at Nellis Hall.
The Lady Ravens win their 23rd game of the season in a 57-47 win over Seward. Alexis Parker was outstanding, finishing with a team high 14 points and three blocked shots. Assistant Coach Sierra McBride says Parker is an integral part of the team's identity.
Aubrey Hishaw had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in her return to the lineup.
The men built an early lead and cruised to a 74-58 win over the Saints, improving to 21-7 on the season. Brian Griffith continued his torrid stretch, finishing with 26 points and six made threes. Assistant Coach Jordan Bailey says the top players always find a way to make an impact.
Justin Taylor had 16 points and three made threes as well in the win.
The Lady Ravens clinch a first round bye in the Region VI tournament with the victory, while the men stay in second place in the conference, a game ahead of Barton with two games to play. The teams will travel west to take on Dodge City on Saturday afternoon.
