The Neodesha boys basketball team is preparing for their first home playoff game in a long time.
The team will host the Frontenac Raiders in the opening round of the sub-state playoffs, after finishing with a 12-6 record in the regular season. Head Coach Mitchell Pietz says the Raiders are a very tough opponent.
Despite the recent success from the Lady Streaks, the boys haven't had a home postseason game in years, bringing a unique opportunity to the community for two playoff home matchups. Pietz says the key is going to be to stay composed.
The boys game is Friday night at 7 p.m. at Neodesha High School. The girls team will play host to Fredonia one night earlier, tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
