Royals baseball is back with spring training action, and the team's top rated prospect made an immediate impression.

 

2024 first round pick Jac Caglianone has the hitting tools and raw talent to be a special player in Kansas City one day, and he didn't waste any time in big league camp. Caglianone hit a massive home run to help the team rally to beat the Chicago White Sox.

 

Caglianone was the sixth overall pick out of the University of Florida, and is in big-league camp working on his hitting and playing first base. He is currenty not only the organization's top prospect, but also the No. 22 prospect in all of Major League Baseball.

 

Caglianone and the Royals are 3-0 to start spring training, and send ace Cole Ragans to the mound for the first time this afternoon against the Athletics.
