While the weather is finally staying out of the way of Nado basketball, the games will be changing venue due to a water main break at the high school.
The water main break also caused students to participate in virtual learning today, and will move the scheduled Nado doubleheader against Parsons tonight to Nellis Hall on the Coffeyville Community College campus.
The Varsity girls will begin at 6 p.m. tonight in the Nellis West gym (where CCC basketball plays), with the boys team to immediately follow. The Lady Nado enter the night the No. 8 seed in 4A East with a 12-5 record, while the boys arethe No. 7 seed with a 11-6 record. The boys are currently a half game behind Parsons in the standings entering tonight's matchup.
The school will recognize the senior winter participants and their parents between the two games, in addition to other senior night festivities.
