The Coffeyville Field Kindley basketball games against Parsons have been postponed due to the incoming winter storm.
The districts reached the decision yesterday, with the games to be played on Monday night. The area anticipates heavy snow and high winds throughout the day, with bitterly cold temperatures and sub-zero wind chill.
Field Kindley will go for their 12th win of the season on Friday night, when they host the Chanute Blue Comets, with the girls game beginning at 6 p.m. and the boys game to follow.
Friday's games can be heard on Sonshine 98.9 KQQF and also simulcasted on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
