Lady Ravens Win 11th Straight, Men Snap Skid

The Lady Ravens jumped out to a large lead in the first half, and claimed their 11th straight victory in a win over Cloud County.

CCC overcame an early injury to forward Aubrey Hishaw to lead by double digits for most of the first half. The team held off a T-Birds run in the third quarter to hang on for a 69-56 win, and improve to 21-3 on the season.

Alexis Parker played key minutes, and finished with a team high 14 points and seven rebounds. Hallie Kitchen had 13 points on 5-6 shooting as well.

The men were able to snap a three-game skid, and rally from 17 points down to beat Cloud County 74-67, and improve to 18-7 on the season.

The team struggled with turnovers in the first half, committing 10 and trailing by 14 at the break. The team responded, however, and only turned the ball over three times in the second half, outscoring the T-Birds 49-28 to complete the comeback.

Brian Griffith finished with a team high 20 points, while Trent Ruth had 16 points as well. Both teams are scheduled to return to Nellis Hall Wednesday night to battle Butler, although the incoming winter storm may impact that game.
