The Caney Valley Bullpups sweep the Fredonia Yellowjackets in basketball action last night; the girls win 49-14 and the boys win 77-63.

 Elyn Washburn led the Caney girls with 14 points and the low post duo of Molleigh Kaminska and Ameris King-Dunn combined for 18 in the win, which improved the Lady Pups to 12-4 on the season. Caney outscored the Fredonia girls 33-8 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to pull away.

 For the Caney boys, four Bullpups were in double figures, led by Braydon Messner, who had five 3's and 22 points. Colt Hightower had 15, Layne Denny had 13 and Peyton Darden had 11, as Caney improved to 13-3 on the season. 

 No rest for the weary; homecoming festivities at Caney end tonight as the Commerce Tigers come to town. Pregame starts around 5:50 with the girls game beginning at 6:00 on Greatest Hits 104.1.
