The Kansas State Wildcats remain red hot, winning their sixth straight game and moving above .500 in conference play after a 73-70 win over Arizona.
KSU played lockdown defense throughout the night, holding a dangerous Arizona offense to just 2-22 shooting from 3-point range, and limiting leading scorer Caleb Love to six points on 3-15 shooting.
Dug McDaniel continues to perform at a high level offensively, finishing with a game-high 24 points and five steals. David N'Guessan finished with 16 points and C.J. Jones contributed 10 off the bench as well.
It has been a remarkable turnaround for KSU, who sat 7-11 on the season and 1-6 in league play on January 24th. The team travels to Utah for a matchup with the BYU Cougars on Saturday night in Provo, and a Monday night matchup with the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City.
