It was a rough night all around for the Lady Nado, who shot 16% on 7/45 shooting. Taiylor Caron led the team with eight points. Coffeyville falls to 9-5 on the season and 5-2 in SEK League play.
The Nado boys started strong outscoring Pittsburg 25-18 in the first half and extended their lead with their first strong start to the second half. The Nado scored 35 points in the second half and hit 60 for the game for the first time since the matchup in Pittsburg. Jake Horner scored 17 points with 8/8 from the free throw line and Carter Herring added. Coffeyville improves to 9-5 on the season and 5-2 in league play.
Both teams are back in action on Monday hosting Columbus with tip off at 6:00pm on Sonshine 98.9 KQQF.
During halftime of the boys game, Coltin Clark hit a layup, free throw, three pointer and half court shot to win $1,000. He is the first winner this season.
