The Caney Valley Bullpups face a tough district matchup tonight as the Humboldt Cubs come to town for girls and boys basketball.

 Both Bullpup teams won earlier this week against Bluestem;  the girls with a 58-34 victory and the guys with an 85-27 win.

 Humboldt's Lady Cubs come into tonight's game with a 9-5 record, 2-4 in district play, while the Lady Pups are 11-2 on the season and 2-2 in district play. Humboldt is 2-3 away from home while Caney is 4-1 at home. Caney is averaging almost 53 PPG, while Humboldt averages almost 47 PPG.

 In the men's game, Humboldt comes to town with a 13-2 record and 5-0 in district play. Caney is 10-3 on the season and 4-0 in district play.

 Humboldt is 4-1 on the road, while Caney is 3-2 at home. Caney also holds a slight advantage in season average, Caney is averaging 71 PPG while Humboldt is averaging 61 PPG.
