An area senior basketball player is having an all-star caliber season for his school.

 

Josh Hutchinson of Oswego is averaging a double-double for the Indians, contributing both 15.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game through 14 games this season. Hutchinson also has five double-double performances for Oswego this year.

 

Basketball isn't the only sport where Hutchinson shines, as he was a star football player as well, and selected to the 8-Man All Star Game this summer. His efforts on the basketball court have earend him the Southeast Kansas Athlete of the Month, presented by Sports in Kansas.

 

Josh and the Indians are 11-4 thus far this season, and travel to Yates Center tomorrrow night.
