The Kansas State Wildcats are gaining momentum, capping off a three-game winning streak with a convincing victory over #3 Iowa State on the road.
Following a back and forth first half, KSU pulled away to a double-digit lead in the second half, en route to the 80-61 win. Head Coach Jerome Tang says Ames is one of the toughest places to win a game.
Dug McDaniel led KSU with 20 points, while Coleman Hawkins had 17 points as well. Tang says the team did a great job of fighting off the Cyclone rallies.
The Wildcats are back within one game of .500, and will look for four wins in a row tomorrow night against Arizona State.
