The newest Division 1 basketball rankings from the NJCAA are out, and both Red Raven teams are climbing in the polls.
New Mexico Junior College is the top ranked team in the nation on the women's side, standing at 20-1 on the season. Dodge City and Hutchinson both sit in the national Top 10, with the Conquistadors No. 5 and the Blue Dragons No. 6.
The Lady Ravens climb one spot after wins over Fort Hays Tech and Colby, now ranked No. 22 in the nation.
Snow College is the nation's top-ranked squad on the men's side, with a 20-1 record and 15 of the 16 first place votes. Cowley remains the highest ranked Jayhawk team, staying put at No. 5 in the nation.
CCC is up one spot to No. 12 with a 16-4 record on the season. Butler is No. 15 and Barton re-enters the rankings at No. 22.
The Red Ravens are on the road tomorrow night against the Independence Pirates, with coverage beginning at 5 p.m. CT on US 98.
