The Caney Valley Bullpups look to continue a strong season as they take on the Eureka Tornadoes tonight in doubleheader basketball action.

 The Lady Pups are 10-0 after a 3-0 championship run at the Ramona tournament. Freshmen point guard Elyn Washburn has ben averaging almost 15 PPG in the last six games, and the low post trio of Sarah Martinez, Molleigh Kaminska and Ameris King-Dunn have provided an awesome on both sides in the paint.

 The Bullpups are looking to rebound after a loss to Liberty in the championship game in the Ramona tournament; a game that almost saw a tremendous comeback.

 Caney outscored Liberty 26-8 in the 4th quarter, and had a chance to tie it at the buzzer.

The Lady Tornadoes come into this game with a 6-2 record; the boys with a 3-7 record.

 Because of Jayhawk basketball, pregame will start at 5:50, with the girls game beginning at 6:00 on U-S 98.
