The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive season.
Kansas City defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 to win the AFC Championship, and will advance to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Head Coach Andy Reid says the rivalry with Buffalo is always a classic.
It is the first time in two seasons the Chiefs were able to clinch at Arrowhead Stadium, in front of the home fans. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes says that's a special feeling.
The Chiefs recent string of success has drawn comparisons to the Tom Brady-Patriots era. Defensive tackle Chris Jones says consistent success will always breed haters.
Kansas City will attempt to become the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls, when they meet the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9th.
