Ravens Roll Trojans in Doubleheader

Despite a short turnaround, with less than 48 hours to prepare for Colby, the Red Ravens cruise to a Nellis Hall sweep.

The Lady Ravens win the opener 69-57. The team raced out to an early lead that they wouldn't relinquish. Norika Welch had 15 points in the opening quarter, and 23 total on the day.

Freshman guard Hallie Kitchen says the team is really starting to click.

The men hold off a talented Colby defense in Game 2, earning an 83-65 win in front of the home fans. Assistant Coach Jordan Bailey says the offensive execution was much better than the first matchup.

Trent Ruth had 23 points with seven rebounds and four assists, while Brian Griffith contributed 17 points as well. Ruth has been in the starting lineup with Griffith and Justin Taylor, and says that trio can be something special.

The Ravens make a trip to Independence on Wednesday, before an off day Saturday. The teams will be back at Nellis Hall on February 5th against Hutchinson.
