Red Raven Baseball Projected 5th in Preseason Rankings

Red Raven baseball has lofty expectations entering the 2025 season, projected to among the conference contenders in the KJCCC.

The Ravens were picked 5th in the preseason rankings, with one-first place vote. The team is looking for a bounce back campaign, after finishing 2024 with a 28-31 record. The team has consistently competed well with the conference's elite programs in Cowley, Johnson County, and KCK.

Head Coach Jake Martin says the next step is to begin stringing together wins against the league's best.

The team returns key hitters in Landin Midgett, Ethan Gillespie, and Eric Bacon, as well as pitchers James Wise, Cross Dowd, and Jackson Waggoner. Martin says the team is led well by its sophomore class.

The Red Ravens open the season on February 8th with a four-game series against Southwestern Community College.
