The Red Ravens began an extended homestand with a doubleheader sweep of the Fort Hays Tech Tigers.
The Lady Ravens rolled in their first game since being nationally ranked, winning 79-35 to complete the regular season sweep of the Tigers. Aubrey Hishaw had a team high 13 points, while Aspen Clarkson had 12, and KK Willis had 11 off the bench.
Assistant Coach Sierra McBride says the team has been working on improving the overall depth.
The men were able to hold off Fort Hays Tech in Game 2, winning 81-75 at Nellis Hall. Brian Griffith finished with 17 points and a perfect 7-7 at the free throw line, while Daniel Ntambwe had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Assistant Coach Jordan Bailey says the Tigers speed and skill gave their defense a challenge.
The Lady Ravens are 15-3, and two games back of first place in the conference, while the men are 15-4, and one game back of first place. Both teams return to the court tomorrow afternoon to take on the Colby Trojans at Nellis Hall.
