Softball season is less than two weeks away, and the Coffeyville Red Ravens have been picked to finish in 8th in the Preseason KJCCC rankings.

 

The Ravens are embarking on a new season with a new leader in first year head coach Ashton Friend, who is a former Cowley standout player and served as an assistant coach at Pitt State. Friend says this conference is one of the toughest in all of junior college.

 

The team returns four sophomores from last season's team, with the remainder of the roster newcomers to both CCC and the college game. Friend says the team doesn't lack the love of the game.

 

The team opens the 2025 season on January 31st when they take on Murray State College.
