Like numerous schools in the area, the Neodesha Blue Streaks are participating in a mid-season tournament this week, looking for a succesful showing at the Lancer Classic.
The team is hovering around the .500 mark thus far this season, with a fast-paced offense and high pressure defense that has been unstoppable at times.
Head Coach Mitchell Pietz says this week is a great opportunity to see some quality basketball teams.
The team lost a battle with New Heights in the opening round of the tournament, having some inconsistencies on both ends of the floor. Pietz says the biggest key for the team is to do better on the glass.
The Blue Streaks will have a rematch with Columbus tomorrow night, before wrapping up the tournament with an opponent to be determined on Saturday.
