Karliey Parker Hits Winner, Ravens Sweep Dodge City

The cardiac kids from Coffeyville Community College make another appearance, as Karliey Parker hits a game winner to stun Dodge City.

Dodge entered the game ranked No. 3 in the nation, and hadn't lost a game in league all season. Head Coach Tony Turner says the entire team stepped up in the win.

The Ravens were led by Parker who finished with 17 points, including the winning shot, while Hallie Kitchen had 13 points for the Lady Ravens. Turner says his group showed toughness and resilience.

The men were able to keep their winning ways going as well, racing to an early 25-point lead in an 80-67 win over Dodge. Assistant Coach Jordan Bailey says a fast start was crucial.

Rashid Kuta finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Daniel Ntambwe also posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. The men have now won 10 of their last 11 games, and tie Cowley for first place in the conference title race. Bailey says a championship is the goal.

The Lady Ravens improve to 13-3 on the season with an 8-3 league record, while the men improve to 14-3 with a 10-1 league mark. The teams travel to Great Bend for a Saturday afternoon tilt with the Barton Cougars.
