Just a week after the Fort Hays State basketball scoring record was broken, the record at Kansas Wesleyan goes down as well.
Senior forward Alex Littlejohn became the university's career scoring leader in a Saturday afternoon loss to Avila. Littlejohn finished the game with 24 points, and now has 1,557 career points as a Coyote.
Littlejohn passed the previous record holder Gary Cassel, who set the mark in 1955, nearly 70 full years ago.
The scoring record isn't the only milestone on the table for the senior, as he is now 43 rebounds shy of the all-time school record, held by Charles Fiffe.
Alex and the Coyotes are 8-8 on the season, and return to the court on Wednesday night against McPherson.
