A Humboldt wrestler made school history over the weekend, becoming the first wrestler in school history to reach 100 career wins.

 

Cole Mathes has been a star for his entire high school wrestling career, and reached the historic milestone during a weekend competition.

 

Mathes is the #2 ranked wrestler in 3-2-1A wrestling in the state of Kansas at the 190 pound class. His accomplishment earned him the Southeast Kansas Performance of the Week from Sports in Kansas.

 

Cole and the Cubs will take the mat again on Thursday night in a home meet.
